Contact the desk

One address reaches the desk that keeps this notebook.

An envelope and a fountain pen resting on a wooden desk beside a small stack of cloth bound translations in soft afternoon light

The desk reads one address: [email protected]. Every message is read, and the useful ones change the notebook: a reference checked and found loose, a translation read differently, a temple arrangement that has moved on since a guide was written.

What to send

  • Corrections: name the page, the sentence and the reference that says otherwise.
  • Retreat updates: what a center currently asks for, in writing, so the retreat guides can be checked against the present rather than the past.
  • Translation notes: passages where two renderings disagree, and what the Pali looks like under the disagreement.
  • Reading requests: subjects the notebook should cover, especially where existing pages are thin.

What the desk cannot do

The desk does not offer personal guidance on meditation problems by mail, does not arrange retreat bookings, and does not answer for any temple; the guides exist so that answers live on pages rather than in an inbox. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and letters about health belong with a qualified professional. Offers to purchase the domain are not answered. Sponsored enquiries are read only under the rules on the sponsored content page. Legal notices belong to the address on the legal page, and privacy matters are handled under the privacy page.
